“Promoting Wellness With Music” will be the featured presentation by Music Therapist Chance Sellinger, at a special Open House on Saturday, October 20, at Rosener House Adult Day Services, 500 Arbor Road, Menlo Park. Open House will be 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. with the presentation at 10:30. The event is designed to increase awareness of services for families and older adults with challenges such as post-stroke, Parkinson’s, mild cognitive impairment, Alzheimer’s or dementia.
Professional activity staff will lead a variety of activities---music, art, exercise, cooking, brain games, therapies, and more. Social work staff will be available to answer questions, and caregivers will be on hand to explain how Rosener House makes life better for both the attendees and their family members. Families are encouraged to drop in to see what a typical day at Rosener House is like.
