Palo Alto Weekly Publisher to Discuss Newspaper Extinction

Palo Alto Weekly Publisher Bill Johnson will share his vision of a world without newspapers, and how that could change history documentation this Sunday.

Johnson will be delivering a talk titled History Endangered: When Newspapers Are Gone, How Will Local History Be Written” at the Menlo Park Library from 2-4 p.m.

The lecture is free and open to the public. 


The Menlo Park Library is located at 800 Alma Street in Menlo Park.

There are alternatives to local newspapers, such as hyperlocal web sites. Ever hear of them?
