February Meeting
Wednesday, February 13, 10:00 am - noon
David Savellano, Watercolor Demonstration

Arrillaga Family Recreation Center
701 Laurel St, Menlo Park, CA

You’ll be taking more than notes at Menlo Art League’s February 13 meeting with Bay Area artist, David Savellano! Join David in the process as he distills a dynamic city scene into simple shapes, expressive lines and colors. David works primarily en plein air and is known for his Bay Area urban paintings along the waterfront or on busy city streets. Although self-taught as a watercolor painter, he credits his thirty years as a practicing architect with having given him the drawing skills and sense of perspective that have elevated his work to professional status. David is a signature member of the National Watercolor Society and the California Watercolor Association. He also teaches classes in the Bay Area distinguished by their intimate size and generous amount of personal instruction.

Bring watercolor paper or a sketchbook, small kit of watercolor paints, and permanent black pen and work along as David teaches us how to tame a dynamic city scene. This will be a paint-along demonstration. You won’t want to miss this!
