2012 marks the 20th year of Bethlehem A.D., a South Bay Christmastime tradition that recreates the ancient village of Bethlehem on the night of the first Christmas.  FREE to the public, visitors interact with costumed actors; camels and other exotic animals; mingle with Roman centurions, tax collectors, census takers, village craftspeople, folk dancers, while Angels on rooftops move to music from a beautiful soundtrack, and the Holy Family in the Manger is a reminder to all of the true "Reason for the Season".  This year there will even be a live 'Hallelujah Chorus' sing along at 9:45pm nightly.  Free donuts, coffee, and cider are served across the street from the event (and bathrooms are available). Bethlehem A.D. is a memorable experience for the entire family!  Dec. 21, 22, 23, from 6pm to 9:30pm nightly. 1305 Middlefield Road, at Cassia, near Main.  Follow the searchlights in the sky to Bethlehem A.D. !

So happy that story about Google killing the Google Reader app was a joke. Google Reader is myRead More favorite way to read the Menlo Park Patch. Without Google Reader, I would miss all the great articles here.
