Bethlehem A.D.

2012 marks the 20th year of Bethlehem A.D., a South Bay Christmastime tradition that recreates the ancient village of Bethlehem on the night of the first Christmas.  FREE to the public, visitors interact with costumed actors; camels and other exotic animals; mingle with Roman centurions, tax collectors, census takers, village craftspeople, folk dancers, while Angels on rooftops move to music from a beautiful soundtrack, and the Holy Family in the Manger is a reminder to all of the true "Reason for the Season".  This year there will even be a live 'Hallelujah Chorus' sing along at 9:45pm nightly.  Free donuts, coffee, and cider are served across the street from the event (and bathrooms are available).
