Research ecologist to talk about American pikas as harbingers of climate change. 


Erik Beever, USGS research ecologist, will be talking about how mountain environments are a natural laboratory for evaluating how vulnerable life forms are to temperature increases.

Learn about how American pikas are adapting and relocating in this free lecture. It starts at 7 p.m. on Thursday Nov. 15 in Conference Room A in Building 3 on the which is located at 345 Middlefield Road in Menlo Park.

So happy that story about Google killing the Google Reader app was a joke. Google Reader is myRead More favorite way to read the Menlo Park Patch. Without Google Reader, I would miss all the great articles here.
