24th Annual BLACK AWARENESS COLLEGE Fair



24th Black College Awareness Fair

Proudly Presented by
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Rho Delta Omega Chapter, Palo Alto CA


FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

  • Meet representatives from Historically Black Colleges and Universities;
  • Meet representatives from local colleges and universities;
  • Attend workshops on college admissions and Financial aid processes;
  • Listen to panel discussions by recent graduates on life at an HBCU
  • Obtain valuable college resource and scholarship information
  • Stanford Campus Tours 

Scholarship applications will soon be available for the 2014 Ivy and Pearls Foundation Scholarship, sponsored by the Rho Delta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Scholarships will be awarded based on need and academic achievement. Additional guidelines and applications will be provided at the BCA Fair on 22 February 2014.

For the past 24 years, the Rho Delta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. has sponsored the


Black College Awareness Fair with the goal and objective of exposing Bay area youth, mentors, counselors and parents to Historically Black Colleges and Universities as well as providing general information on the admissions and financial aid processes. Each year the fair attracts between 300 - 400 students with representation from over 30 HBCU’S.

within the greater San Francisco Bay Area community by developing key strategic partnerships and implementation of our signature programs.
