Galileo Summer Camp

At Galileo Learning, preK – 8th graders bring their ideas to life. 2011 programs include:

Camp Galileo (preK – 5th graders): Campers engage in hands-on art, science and outdoor activities every day, plus have tons of fun with camp traditions like dress-up days, water day and the rubber chicken cheer.

Galileo Summer Quest (5th - 8th graders): Campers try their hand at the things they love, experiencing one Major and two Minors every day during their two-week session, with options like Go-Kart Makers, Fashion Design, Video Game Design and Chefology.

The Tech Summer Camps (4th - 8th graders): Hands-on science and technology classes for aspiring scientists and engineers at the Tech Museum in San Jose.

iD Tech Camps

India Community Center ’s Camp

The India Community Center Camp runs June 13 - Sept 2.

Jenifura Camp

Celebrating our 20th year of Jefunira Camp summer fun in 2011!!  Come join us for some good old-fashioned summer fun!  Our combination of an exceptional college-aged staff and innovative, inclusive programming will create a memorable summer experience for your child. Junípero Serra High School – Summer Fun in the Sun

Serra's Summer Co-Ed programs offer an action-packed campus with a day camp featuring recreation, arts & crafts, sports skills and Camp Olympics for everyone from ages 5-12; Next Level Sports Camps;  Co-ed middle, pre-high and high school academics highlighting enrichment in English, Math and Study Skills for middle school students; Pre-High School Academics & High School designed courses.


Kaleidoscope Summer Camp

The Kaleidoscope Summer Camp at Oak Knoll for kids entering grades 2nd - 6th grades June 20th - July 15th 9:00am-1:00pm with before and after care.  Kaleidoscope is being offered by two district teachers, Janet Delgado & Maria Clemo.  Contact Janet Meister at (650) 771-3415.


Kids Camp

For kids entering 4-6th grade

July 25-28th   9-Noon  Snacks Provided

Cost:  $120/week.  Themes include:  Amazing Race Day, Sports, Games and Water Day

Location:  The Dillers 294 Oak Grove Ave, Atherton

Join High School Camp Counselors Eric Levenson and Peter Diller for a fun-filled week of sports, games, and more. Each day a different theme is featured, with activities planned around that day’s theme.

Camp will be held in the Diller’s Backyard, where there's lots of room to run around, plus there will be a tennis and basketball court for some of games. Also there is lots of lawn space available. The pool will NOT be used.

The Legends Youth Summer Baseball Camps

Menlo Park Legends provides your child with the most intimate and positive baseball learning environment on the Peninsula! Our infamous “camper to coach” ratio will again be made up of energetic collegiate and semi-pro players from the MP Legends team! There is no camp like it!

Camp Louise 2011!

Camp Menlo Summer Aquatics Camp: Pre-K to Age 10

Menlo Swim and Sport offers two camps every week this summer at the Burgess Park Pools. Pre-K camp is for little ones without Kindergarten experience. Camp Menlo. Age 5-10 camp is for kids who have completed Kindergarten. Both camps feature professional swim lessons daily, top quality instruction, water and dry land play, and quiet activities. Choose any of our ten 5-day camps, Jun 13-Aug 19. Making summer magic.

We have slots left particularly in our Junior Lifeguard camps and some in our age 5-10 camp, plus we have a Pre-K camp this year.

Heroes in Training! Camp Menlo Junior Lifeguard

Kids ages 10–14 get to experience what it's like to be a lifeguard, learning about rescue and safety with fun and friendship mixed in. Week-long day camps, 10am-2pm, at the Burgess Park Pools start June 13. Red Cross-based instruction is led by Title-22 certified guards. Come to multiple camps for different weekly themes!

Camp Menlo: Making Summer Magic starting June 13

Week-long aquatics day camps are full of fun and instruction, water games, and land activities for ages 5-10. A daily 45-minute swim lesson is tailored to each camper's skill level, perfect for first-time learning to swim. Mon-Fri, 8:45am-2pm with extended care option. Come to multiple camps--every week all summer.

Also offering Pre-K Camp for little brothers and sisters (no swim experience ok)!


Newton Summer Programs

To try to accommodate the Menlo Park schools communities and provide them a range of fun and exciting programs throughout the summer, we have totally revamped our summer programs at Menlo Park.

We also, added a special Kindergarten Readiness program for all the students that will start Kindergarten this fall.

Ohlone Art Camp

Space still available in Ohlone Art Camp in all 10 weeks of summer! NOTE: New extended hours are now available!

Silk painting, embroidery, mosaics, masks and more!   Let’s create ART AL FRESCO under a canopy!  Visit with all the animals: dogs, chickens, snake, birds and maybe a new guinea pig! Don’t feel like drawing today? Bring your book and read or visit the vegetable garden!  REMEMBER MY 3 RULES: •  HAVE FUN  •  SLOW DOWN  • NO ERASERS ALLOWED BECAUSE THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A MISTAKE IN ART!

Play-Well TEKnologies' summer camps are offered through Menlo Park Recreation. 


San Francisco Summer at Oak Knoll

A fun filled 2 week summer program at Oak Knoll School, for students in grades 1-5. (June 27th through July 8th. No class on July 4th) Mrs. Lavezzo and Miss Boatright will teach students about our "City by the Bay." The program will tie in games, art, music, writing, reading, history and cultural awareness which will create a true appreciation and excitement for San Francisco!

SOLO Aquatics

SOLO Aquatics is a non-profit aquatics organization serving Menlo Park and surrounding communities for 20 years. Solo Aquatics is located at Burgess Memorial Community Pool and Menlo Atherton High School Spieker Pool. SOLO is offering six one-week camps for children 5-12 years old starting June 13th 2011. Camp attendees will learn the fundamentals of two of the fastest growing sports, Swimming and Water Polo. Campers will receive the individual attention necessary to ensure a solid and fun start to a new sport, or to build on their skills in a sport they already love. SOLO has been training champions since 1986. All coaches and counselors are USA Swimming Certified.


Spring Down Equestrian Center

Located in beautiful Portola Valley, Spring Down Equestrian Center will host Horsemanship camps all summer long!  Learn everything from safety around horses and horse psychology, to grooming and tacking up - and of course, riding! Ages 6 to 96.
