One of Our Own Needs Help

Maggie Reyes said, "I've known Dennis since I was young & still in school. He is an awesome person and no matter how busy he was he would always take the time to talk to you and make sure you were doing ok. The city of Half Moon Bay needs to stop being selfish and do the right thing and give Dennis his benefits. He always took care of us when we needed him, now its our turn to take care of him."

 

Yee Says Death Threats Won't Deter His Gun Control Efforts

Richard wrote, "The comments here are exactly why we need gun control. It's not just the mentally ill who should be prevented from having guns. Handguns do not enhance our safety. They exacerbate our flaws, tempt us to escalate arguments, and bait us into embracing confrontation rather than avoiding it. The NRA and it's supporters will never acknowledge the danger posed by supposed "law abiding citizens"...until they get angry and turn to their guns as a means for settling up."
