Cyclist in Critical Condition After Accident in Menlo Park

Witnesses do not agree on what happened.

A cyclist was seriously inured Monday night in front of the Stanford Park Hotel in Menlo Park.

Menlo Park Police responded to a call about a cyclist colliding with a vehicle in front of the hotel at about 8:20 p.m.

When they arrived, police said that witnesses told them the cyclist had not been hit by a car. They said he had fallen off his bike.

The cyclist is a 21-year-old East Palo Alto resident named Fabian Sandoval.

Sandoval was taken to Stanford Hospital with life threatening injuries.  Menlo Park Police’s “Crash” team is investigating the incident and urges anyone with information about the accident to call Sergeant Ed Soares.  His phone number is (650) 330-6360.  He can also be emailed at ejsoares@menlopark.org

So happy that story about Google killing the Google Reader app was a joke. Google Reader is myRead More favorite way to read the Menlo Park Patch. Without Google Reader, I would miss all the great articles here.
