101 On Ramp To Close on Monday
Menlo Park and East Palo Alto residents are advised to take detours.
The California Department of Transportation announced it will be closing the University on ramp to Highway 101 in East Palo Alto, California on Monday July 1, 2013. Two northbound lanes on 101 are also scheduled to be closed.
Crews will be repairing a water main that transports fluids to West Menlo Park residents. Crews will be working Monday through Wednesday from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. to finish the job and pave the roads.
Signs will be placed along the site to advise drivers to take caution when traveling through "the cone zone," according to the Caltrans Public Affairs department.
