Patch editor Laura Dudnick along with about 20-25 other students learned how to mince, julienne, and make floral arrangements out of vegetables at in San Mateo on Tuesday night.

The one-and-a-half-hour class taught the basics of every chef’s most important tool, their knives. Educators from Wüsthof taught the students how to master basic knife skills and the fundamental cuts for vegetables.

So happy that story about Google killing the Google Reader app was a joke. Google Reader is myRead More favorite way to read the Menlo Park Patch. Without Google Reader, I would miss all the great articles here.
