PG&E Releasing Gas Near Stanford

Company cautions work will be fragrant.

PG&E will be venting natural gas Wednesday from pipes near the Stanford Golf Course.  Crews will be working on sections of pipe at Junipero Serra Boulevard near Alpine Road.

“Customers in the area may smell natural gas and hear the sound of it venting from the pipe,” said Joe Molica, PG&E Spokesperson.

Molica said the gas would dissipate into the atmosphere and is not harmful.

The company does not expect services to be interrupted.

So happy that story about Google killing the Google Reader app was a joke. Google Reader is myRead More favorite way to read the Menlo Park Patch. Without Google Reader, I would miss all the great articles here.
