Downtown Library Closing Monday

Menlo Park's Belle Haven branch will remain open.

One of Menlo Park's libraries will be closing for renovations on Monday, librarians said.

The will be getting new carpet and a new front desk area. The library is also updating the check in and check out system by upgrading the RFID tags inside of books and movies. (Those are the things that set off the alarms.)

Expect the doors to be closed starting May 21. They open again on June 18. The book drop will remain open for people who need to return books, although it will be sealed on Memorial Day, May 28.

In the meantime, the Belle Haven Branch, located at 431 Ivy Drive is open. Today, it is open from 1-5 p.m.
