Highway 101 Closures Begin at Midnight

Caltrans announces detours.

Segments of U.S. Highway 101 in Menlo Park will be closed starting at midnight Wednesday, while crews take down temporary structures that hold up the new Ringwood Pedestrian Bridge.   

Caltrans spokesperson Gidget Navarro said all northbound lanes on Highway 101 will be closed between Marsh Road and Willow Avenue from midnight to 4 a.m. on Wednesday and Friday.


All southbound lanes on Highway 101 between Willow Avenue and Marsh Road will be closed from midnight to 4 a.m. on Thursday.

Navarro said the following detours will be clearly marked:

"Southbound traffic will exit westbound on Marsh Road, southbound to Middlefield Road, eastbound on Willow Avenue back onto southbound 101.

Northbound traffic will exit eastbound Willow Avenue, northbound to Route 84, westbound Marsh Road, back onto northbound 101."

So happy that story about Google killing the Google Reader app was a joke. Google Reader is myRead More favorite way to read the Menlo Park Patch. Without Google Reader, I would miss all the great articles here.
