Facebook Says IPO Buzz Just Speculation
Spokesperson declines to elaborate on the buzz. Think it's all hype? Tell me in the comments.
Media around the world is speculating about whether Facebook will go public next Wednesday. But Facebook spokespeople will neither confirm nor deny it.
"I'm sorry, but we're not participating in speculation around an IPO," Facebook spokesperson Larry Yu told Patch Friday.
The original article came from the Wall Street Journal, which said in November 2011 that Facebook Inc. would go public in the second quarter of 2012, raising about $10 million in the process.
