Facebook Gets Hacked

Carpenters built a 3D "HACK" sign out of wood and placed it in front of Facebook's new headquarters, located at 1601 Willow Road in Menlo Park, California.

Tim Belonax, a member of the Facebook Communications Design team, made the sign for funsies, according to a Facebook employee familiar with the matter.

He built it in the Analog Research Lab, an on-campus facility with machines for woodworking, screen printing, and other functions. The sign was placed outside during a campus hackathon last week.

The Facebook sign has already become a major tourist attraction - I like how Facebook is personalizing their new campus.

When I first walked over to the sign, kids were taking their picture by it with their thumbs up.
