Menlo Park Hosting Mid Summer Arts Festival

The Menlo Park Chamber of Commerce Presents The Connoisseurs' Marketplace, a festival of gourmet food, fun, and live music.

Menlo Park is a town that wears many hats, and this weekend it will put on one that is fit for a mustachioed chap. A feast for the senses will set up shop in Menlo Park this weekend, bringing gourmet foods, microbrews, and live music to the heart of the town. The music lineup includes SF Bay Jazz, HeartStrings Music, Oscar Reynolds, and Emerson & The GroWiser Band.

250 visual, performance, and culinary artists will be demonstrating their appreciation for the good things in life on Santa Cruz Avenue. Original works in mixed media will be available for purchase, while live bands play a mix of blues, jazz, and funk.

Kids can play in the Fun Zone, climbing on the walls, riding on trains, or bungee jumping. Adults can visit the Chef’s Demo Tent, which brings top chefs to Menlo Park to share the ways they prepare imaginative dishes you can try in your kitchen.

The Connoisseur’s Marketplace starts at 10 a.m. and runs to 6 p.m. on July 20 and 21, 2013.

Music starts in Fremont Park on Saturday at 5:30 and goes through 8 p.m.
