The second annual South San Mateo County Foreclosure Resource Fair is free and open to the public.
HUD-approved housing counselors, lenders, and non-profit attorneys will offer tools and expertise in one-on-one meetings with homeowners and tenants who are in danger of losing their home. You can also attend information sessions and panel discussions on predatory lending, loan modification, rescue scams, seniors and reverse mortgages, and developing a crisis budget. Translators will be on hand.
