500 Bell Street East Palo Alto CA 94303  See map

A parade, a fireworks show, and cultural activities? Sounds like it's summer time on the Peninsula.

East Palo Alto will be hosting a celebration in Bell Street Park on June 30.

A parade kicks off the event at 11 a.m. It starts at Costaño/ 49ers Academy, which is located at 2695 Fordham street, goes through University, and ends at Bell Street Park.

The main festivities will be held there, at 500 Bell Street, from noon to 4 p.m.

Fireworks will end the community festival with a bang at 7:30 p.m. You can watch them at the Cesar Chavez Academy School, which is located at 2450 Ralmar.

So happy that story about Google killing the Google Reader app was a joke. Google Reader is myRead More favorite way to read the Menlo Park Patch. Without Google Reader, I would miss all the great articles here.
