What Happened To My Blog Post On Patch?

Residents across Patch are blogging daily–writing about everything from crafting to deer spotting, Summers in Kenya to newborn care

Many of our bloggers new and old are running into our "Friendly" Spambot–and getting accidentally stuck in our spam filter.

Have you received a rejection email from Patch? Not to worry! Your blogs are still there–they just need to be released from the spam filter. You do not need to resubmit it or rewrite it! Simply click on the title of your blog post in the spam email and then click post now. (Thanks to our blogger Jason W. H. for that tip!) Or email your local editor for assistance.

A few notes about our new Patch sites:

  • They work best with Google Chrome as your web browser. Try using Chrome if you are having trouble uploading and posting on Patch.
  • ALWAYS save a copy of your blog in another format. A great thing to do in case your computer freezes, the site slows down or you accidentally hit the delete button.
  • Did you receive a "spam" rejection? If our "spambot" caught your blog, email your community editor for help.

Still having trouble posting on Patch? Email Community Editor Mayra Flores De Marcotte at mayra.marcotte@patch.com today for a little extra Patch help.
