VIDEO: Dogs Doing Tricks @ The Block Party

You can't pick your friend's nose, but you can can pick Menlo Park's next top pooch. Read on.

Patch cute canines during the Block Party Wednesday night to see who could perform the most awesome trick.  Check out these videos and then you play Simon Cowell or Paula Abdul in the comments.

Tell us what you like and what you don't like about each one.  Your comments determine the winner.

Most comments, or most convincing argument wins a free bath.  Not for you. For the dog.  (:

My vote has got to go to Sandy! I'm a big fan of the bilingual trickster

I agree. that. is. AWESOME! two votes Sandy; plus it's an altruistic dog who volunteers his time at Lucille Packard Children's Hospital (although in all fairness, I did not let that factor into my decision). =)

hahaha <3 that Sandy is international AND a volunteer. That's two solid votes for Sandy. This is a tough decision to make. I love the versatility of the dog who who gave the high fives. Not only was he able to discern the difference between the words "left" and "right," you could sense how enthusiastic he was to be there. Bonus points. But then again you've got the dog sporting the goggles and camo...hmm

WOW these dogs are just too cute!!! Sandy definitely gets points for being bilingual, but the high-fiving dog truly stole my heart. I'm gonna show these videos to my BFF in Portland this weekend who will no doubt die of joy (she's quite the dog lover)!! I'll have her cast a vote as well. Thanks for the fun videos, Kenny and Vanessa!! :-)

I'm with Vanessa, Laura, Austin, Kenny.....Sandy's the one! (They are ALL cute, however!) Given the time, I betcha each one could score. (:
