Why Go: At the Quilt, Craft & Sewing Festival you will find a wide variety of needle art and craft supply exhibits from many quality companies.

Where/When: Colma Community Center, 1520 Hillside Blvd., Colma, CA 94014, on Feb. 26, 2011 from  1–5 p.m.

Why Go: Donate blood and platelets at a mobile drive sponsored by the Blood Centers of the Pacific.

Where/When: , U.S. Hwy. 101 & State Hwy. 84, Menlo Park, CA 94025, at 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011.

Why Go: The 2.3-mile perimeter trail at Bedwell Bayfront Park offers great opportunities to discover winter wildlife and to discuss how future wetlands restoration will shape this piece of the Bay.

Where/When: 199 Churchill Ave., Woodside, CA 94062. on Feb. 25, 2011, from 7 -11 p.m.

Why Go: A dinner/dance fundraiser for the Woodside High Music Department featuring performances by the concert band, orchestra and choir, and capped off with a dance set provided by the jazz band.  Feb. 25, from 7-11 p.m., at Woodside High School, 199 Churchill Ave., Woodside.

Pricing: $50 couples / $30 adults / $15 students & staff.  Call (650) 364-1131 for tickets.  

 

Where/When: Kepler's Books, 1010 El Camino Real, Menlo Park, CA 94025, on Feb. 26, 2011 at 3 p.m.
