Where/When: , 701 Laurel St, Menlo Park on May 14 at 10:00 a.m.

Why Go: The movement for more birthdays is about everyday people, just like you, coming together to make a difference. This year more than 11 million cancer survivors will celebrate another birthday, thanks in part to the progress we've already made. But we can't stop there. With every person who joins the movement, we can get closer to the day when cancer never steals another year from someone's life. It all starts by helping people stay well and get well, and by finding cures and fighting back.

There will be cultural performances such as dance, singing, poetry, and more! This event is free and is a great way to visit with members of your community. Why Go: The Menlo Park Library is looking for a few great teens to join our Teen Advisory Group.  T.A.G. is a forum for teens to meet other teens who enjoy the library and reading, to have a voice in planning the activities for teens in the library and to promote our services to your peers.  You can use your T.A.G. involvement to count towards community service hours and it looks great on a resume or college application!
