Handicapped Parking Added Near Walgreens
Menlo Park residents worked together to create more parking spaces at the downtown location.
Thanks to a citizen, a council member, a store manager, and city staff, the need for handicapped parking behind (near the pharmacy department) has been addressed.
Previously, handicapped parking was only at the end of the plaza, creating a long trek for someone with a cane or walker.
I discovered the restriped parking last night. Walgreens staff told me that it had been in place about two weeks!
