Angry Birds Part of Menlo Restaurant's Easter

Video game is inspiration for restaurant's pastry chef.

A Menlo Park hotel and spa is sweetening its annual Easter Sunday celebration with characters of the Angry Birds video game.

The scowling fowl will appear as large-scale pastry creations at the Rosewood Sand Hill's holiday festivities, according to a spokesperson for the hotel. Hotel pastry chef Emmanuel Fimbrez's creations will be on display at the library for all to see.

The hotel will also offer an all-day menu for $68 per person ($34 for kids), a petting zoo and visits with the Easter Bunny.
