Middle & High School Creative Writing Contest - One Month to Go!

The Leyla Beban Young Authors Foundation '$1000 for 1000 Words' fiction writing contest comes to a close February 1st.  Be sure to get your entry in before the deadline to be eligible.

The contest is open to current middle and high school students.  Two $1000 scholarships will be awarded, one each to the best middle school and high school submission, as well as $100 cash prizes to the best in each grade 6-12.  The piece must be fiction and must be *exactly* 1000 words.  Winners and 'honorable mentions' will be published in the upcoming literary journal Bluefire.
