Hispanic and Asian Participants Needed for Stanford Salt Study

The Stanford Prevention Research Center is looking for Hispanic and Asian participants for a nutrition study assessing sources of salt in the diet among different ethnic/race groups. This is a study funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Participants must:
- Be 18-74 years old and in general good health;
- Not currently have diabetes insipidus, chronic kidney disease, or be pregnant or breastfeeding

Study participants will be asked to:
- Describe over the phone to a dietitian what they ate over a 24-hour period on 4 separate days (~30 minutes each)
- collect samples of all salt added to food on 4 separate days.

All study participants will receive a Detailed Diet Analysis – including carbs, fats, protein, fiber, antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, sodium and more!  And will be paid up to $120 depending on participation.

You can read more about the study by visiting the Salt Study website and completing our eligibility questionnaire, or email eavery@stanford.edu for further information. Friends and family are also welcome to participate!
